| wow...am i totally in the dark ages? what is this friendster thing? i thought i was on top of the "cool" things when i got a xanga...now there's friendster?!?!?! geez...a girl can't win.
so, i just finished my first summer class. this means the class i'm taking now is the last class i'm ever gonna take at berkeley. how sad. well, not really.
i went to this catholic vietnamese youth convention at UC Irvine over the weekend. it was alright. i should have expected everything and everyone to be late since it was a vietnamese thang. geez. but i had a blast yelling and screaming. i haven't done all that stuff since high school rallies. i even lost my voice and everything. *sigh* memories...
anyways, nothing else is new with me. i'm pretty much bored out of my mind. please rescue me from chewing off my own arm
| so, i'm back home. i can't quite explain how i feel. it's...weird. that's the only word i can find to describe the feeling of having complete freedom for a couple of years, and then coming home and being an almost 22-year-old with a curfew. you know how after a long day of class, you just wanna sit in front of the tv and just vege out? well, try to do that while your parents are in the kitchen talking to each other at the only volume level they seem to have...really really loud. don't get me wrong, i love my parents. they work really hard to provide the family with everything we want and need...but geez! it's hard being back home.
on top of adjusting to living with my parents again, the house is a disaster! every since i moved back home in the beginning of june, all my stuff is still in boxes in the garage. we were supposed to get new carpet on the 17th, so instead of moving it in and then having to move it all out again, i left it. For 17 days, everytime i wanted something from my desk or from my boxes, i had to go down into the garage and search through my boxes to find it. it was very frustrating. We move EVERYTHING out of all the bedrooms into the bathrooms and everywhere else where carpet wasn't going to go. my computer is down in the family room, my bed is now the couch, and all my clothes are in garbage bags. so the 17th rolls around and i can't wait until they're done so i could get unpacked and settled in. the people come and start ripping out the old carpet, unroll the new carpet and my mom looks at it and says its the wrong color! the freakin company brings the wrong color carpet to the house! they call the store and they said they won't be able to have our right color until two weeks! my dad doesn't want to move all the stuff back and then have to move it back out again in two weeks, so all our stuff is all over the house! geez!
on a happier note, i went bowling on sunday. i got my highest score! 189!! i got a 5-bagger! i should have gotten a 200 game easily, but i choked. hehe. but i'm still happy! okie, my longest entry yet!
enjoy the weather guys!
| moving is the worst thing that's been invented. why can't i just close my eyes and everything from the apartment magically appear at my house? and not just dumped anywhere, but everything in its specific place. wouldn't that be wonderful? eh, a girl can dream...
oh my goodness, you don't realize how much junk you accumulate over two years. i found things that i forgot i even bought! the girls and i were running back and forth asking if we want stuff that the other doesn't want. i got a pretty cute pair of shorts out of it. thanks ANNIE!!!
so, my bootie is moving home. i don't know how i'm gonna survive living at home again. geez, back to eleven oclock curfews! yuck. to think, we wouldn't leave the house to go out until ten or so!!!
aight, i would write more, but tri is bugging us to watch the ring...why do i agree to do these things?!?!
| okie, i have a final tomorrow at 8 oclock, so naturally i would be updating my xanga thing. i hate finals...it's that time when you're kicking yourself in the butt for not keeping up with your studies all semester. don't you hate those people who study on the way, and all they do is review? damn, do those people actually exist?
well, i graduated on Sunday. it doesn't feel like much, seeing as though i still have three finals to take. why do they do that? that's just wrong. my parents were so cute! they looked really happy, i'm glad that i could do this for them.
okie, i really have to go study now. seriously...no joking. good luck to all those who are still studying...and to those who are already done...i'm so jealous!
| it's good to be home. going on vacation is fun, but there's nothing like home...
so, i went to las vegas this weekend. we left early on sunday...7 oclock flight! thank you annie and tri for getting up at 5:30 to take us to the airport! we stayed at new york new york. it was nice, we had a beautiful view of the strip. i didn't gamble though, i kept on getting carded. it was pretty annoying.
we went to go see Mystère at Treasure Island. it's a cirque du soleil show. it was sooooo good. the people are amazing! the guys are so strong, it's crazy.
our second day in Sin City was really windy. i wanted to ride the roller coaster on top of stratosphere, but it wasn't working because of the wind. i was very disappointed. we didn't even get to see the water show at bellagio because of the wind.
but, we did go shopping though there are so many stores in caesar's palace and the bellagio. half of them i didn't dare step foot in...but i still had fun.
of course we ate at the buffet. you can't go to vegas or anywhere with gambling and not eat at a buffet. we ate at the MGM buffet. it was alright...
okie, i think that's enough of me talking about my trip. if you see me around...please tell me to go to class
